Bernie Made Off with all the Dough

Once there was a business man from Florida
Or Yankeetown up north I don't recall
Flew, a mile high in his G4 across the sky
and only paid with other peoples dimes

Now this man he did not discriminate
Took, all your money rich or poor
Spielberg gave him more than the sisters of the poor
but in the end they all were in the dirt

Fifty Billion dollars was the price tag
when someone noticed that the game was up
the names would fill who’s who of who got hurt
and who got through
and some don't even notice that it's gone

Now rules and regulations they were put in place
to help protect against this kind of scheme
but made off was to smart because his game was more than art
you know he helped to write the rules himself

Bernie, Bernie took more than he could stash

Congress called some hearings to investigate
how such a thing could happen here and now
they adjourned for lunch this year
and went out for a beer
with Mr. Made off and his legal crowd

Now I doubt that Bernie will ever see inside a jail
folks of his provenance rarely do
with friends in high places
who can get him comfy spaces
to rest his feet in perpetude.
