I have ignored you and I am sorry.

I have been distracted with YouTube so much lately. There are contests and collabs and comments and God knows what.

YouTube has enhanced my life and at the same time detracted from my real world. But who defines the real world? Is the real world the pleasure of a good job done? Or the satisfaction of interacting with other like talented people?

Is it the real world because of the social barriers due to age and social status? I get so much pleasure from creating music and video. I get so much satisfaction from the attaboys.

Don't we all?

Here we recognize other people by how they express themselves. How they speak or write or display them self. Here we are friends or enemies or just meh. But the fact remains, it's easier to see who you're dealing with.

I have heard it said that the people in that box are not real people. Non-existent. A puff of electrons without feeling or soul.

The real world is just outside that door. But, so is the internet and that makes it the real world.

I think you are right sir. Youtube makes for very real connections. But sometimes I think too real! It can be like have dozens and dozens of extra high needs friends wanting contact, and I'll admit I get tired of juggling it all, and just want to turn off my internet for a month or so! Love/Hate in the truest sense...

The accent is on the word 'Needy' All too true. Victor suggested taking a week off a month.
