Hey guys! I wrote something that someone actually published!
I guess I can write something that is interesting to someone... go figure.
One of the reasons that I've been scarce lately is that I've been playing a lot of golf. I mean a whole lot of golf. The summertime is a great time for me because the days are hot and the golf courses here in Orlando are empty and cheap. I had taken some time away from the game recently but since the economy is off and I have had a great deal of free time I decided to fill it with an activity that got me out of the house and supplied me with some fresh air and sunshine.
I'm not a great golfer but I guess that you could consider me better than average....and enthusiastic.
I was introduced to a website called OOBGolf.com by one of my regular playing partners. OOB supplies, for free, the ability to track your scores and generate a USGA equivalent handicap. That alone is reason for anyone who plays regularly to use the service. For the stat conscious among us it also lets you track different stats like putts, drives in the fairway and a assortment of other miscellany. OOB caters to the amateur golfer, but it also publishes articles from golf bloggers, industry representatives and occasionally from regular old golfer/bloggers, like me.
So if you're interested in my description of an often misinterpreted and misplayed rule of golf, give it a read.

Cheers.
